The Sbooktacular Readingadventure

Sbooktacular Readathon

Hello fellow bookworms 👻 Sbooktober has sadly nearly run its course already, so it’s time for the last and best week: Readathon Time! This year there’s a brand new Readathon format that the Team (follow them on @sbooktobernews on Twitter) has worked on and I’m so excited to get into it! The Sbooktacular Reading Adventure is a choose your own adventure type of format and takes place from October 25th to October 31th so on what I call Halloween Week! The lovely Jasmine @ NovelThoughts is in charge of the Readathon and you should definitely check out her announcement post here as it explains the rules so much more in detail & has also got a quick FAQ section!

I just quickly want to explain that the Readathon is all about choosing a path on a Map (created by the Sbooktober Team) that has different signs and challenges. In total there are 7 Reading Challenges that take you down a path to one of 5 Teams (Skeleton, Ghost, Zombie, Vampire, Witch), but you can use a book for multiple challenges. I’m glad that’s allowed because I couldn’t read a book every day for an entire week. I’ve already plotted out my path and ended up being a cute sbooky Ghost, even though I lowkey was eyeing the witch team.
